Leonardo was never married though.
Not Pierce Brosnan.
Or William H. Macy
I imagine this would be gender neutral phenomenon. Any person who gets famous, suddenly is able to date up and could therefore be tempted by it.
A man is basically as faithful as his options.
–Chris Rock, Bigger and Blacker
*I don’t like to put gender essentialist assymetries into these things, but then again jokes generally aren’t funny if they aren’t at least a little true.
“after all why not? Why shouldn’t I snatch some fangirl right out of highschool?”
*middle school
Thats the politician approach
I mean, I can think of a few reasons actually…
Because it’s gross
or someone like pratt who like at his wife after he got famous/buff. just ditched her
it seems like they were together for 9 years, after both being in previous relationships, they met while they were both famous, had a kid, divorced 5 years after the kid was born. Now they’ve both remarried/engaged to someone else.
Seems like fairly normal stuff to me.
Like the good christian he is

My wife, who follows that sort of thing. She’s a big Anna Faris fan.
To be fair to Tim Segundo, Jeans was getting jowls real bad. She better hop on that mom to milf train though because shes gonna need more than funny at her age.
(25years old ) - (30years married + 18 typical legal marriage age)
Dam, rich people are going after -23 year olds now? Someone needs to release those files.
Where did the 25 come from? And you’re just assuming everyone marries at 18? Really only one of those numbers makes sense.
- 25: OP mentioned DiCaprio
- 18: yes, the normal legal minimal marriage age in most of the civilized world. Why, where do you live?
The legal minimal mariage age doesn’t mean it’s the avarage age someone does marriage, in Europe the country that has the lowest avarage is Belarus with 27.1, in the Americas it’s Nicaragua with 22.5, i could continue but it’s basically 21/22 for all the others
Edit: the lowest age of mariage in all continents* avarage is 23.15
*except oceania, wikipedia has only the median so i excluded it because otherwise it would be wrong
Can you explain this maths?
Edit: I understand it, your maths shows why the celebrity would leave their long-term partner as by their new standards, the partner would be 23 years too old
OP calls it the DiCaprio approach, but DiCaprio is known for breaking off relationships when they turn 25.
The joke is that the meme implies a 25 year old married for 30 years
