Gotta say, IMO this has nothing to do with being a [insert genre] fan at all. It’s just about not being a pompous, pretentious asshole. 😄 Let people like what they like! But I still have my opinions about what level of musicality and interesting aspects there need to be in the music I listen too. Again, the music ->I<- listen to. Other people can definitely listen to bland mainstream garbage if they want to. 😅 Not all mainstream music is garbage of course, some of it is popular because it’s actually good, so not all awesome music is obscure/indie/whatever. 👍
