I completely ditched WhatsApp, I have more than 20 contact in Signal including my parents (70+) and my work chat of 8 people. I live in Germany where people tend to be very privacy focused, but we are getting there!

Wish more in my circle would embrace Signal. iMessage and WhatsApp are the default messaging apps. Of the three, Signal is far better imo
