I’ve got an elderly cat that became my responsibility through… circumstances.

He’s a lot of work. He has zero personality or charisma. Worst of all, he harasses me for wet food his whole waking existence. Food motivated is not the word, it’s the only thing he knows, or cares about.

I’m not going to be sad when he dies.

    I once helped take care of a hedgehog when its owner was away. It didn’t like anything except being left alone under a blanket at day and at night, to creep out to crunch on some food.

      I used to have an albino hedgehog pet (a rescue). Hedgehogs only care about sleep and food. And by all means, I get it.
