        As an eight million year old ape, I believe they could do a better job being clear about what they meant.

        • Well, if I’m remembering correctly, humans’ branch of the hominoids branched off from the other apes 15-20MYA, so you’re actually over twice as old as you think!

          Unless you’re sensitive about your age, then you can be 8MY old if you want.

            Wikipedia says “The last split, between the human and chimpanzee–bonobo lineages, took place around 8–4 million years ago, in the late Miocene epoch,” but what do they know? Also, I’m a known fool, so I could be reading it wrong.
