Full title: In 1981, the Indian Space Agency, ISRO, prepared to launch its first communication satellite, named APPLE, into space. To test the satellite, scientists placed it on a simple ox-drawn wooden cart to create an environment free from electrical or magnetic interference for checking the instruments.

    One could have hoped that, given its significance, the cart would have been elaborately decorated like one of the ornate juggernauts one sees in India.
