season 1 doomed the series, basically lack of any aliens at all, and when the nakai appeared halfway they weren’t a major threat,
the drones were suppose to rectify that situation in season 2 and 3(if it had ever been aired)
The only thing that disappointed me about Universe was that it stopped when it was just getting going.
I didnt mind a different approach, and it was way too slow to start, but it did get moving and I think did start getting fun/interesting.
Though as I understand, the comics are an even bigger mess than the show and absolutely not worth the time.
