It was in the top 5 long before the AI bubble which itself isn’t even producing that much GDP

Do you have numbers for the impact on Californian GDP by AI stuff, including secondary investments in the real economy to support that bubble (suppliers, construction etc)?

Do you have the dignity to admit when you were obviously wrong?

It’s a basic GDP calculation and as others have already mentioned - it was true long before AI.

A pity, I was ready to learn something new and see some numbers but instead just the usual turning stuff into a battle.

I am not sure if you think the inflated revenue for products and services of the dominating companies of the Californian economy have no impact at all or if you think it is too insignificant to shift GDP enough to matter for the ranking.

You’re the one who wants to know this fairly specific information, it’s nobody’s job to inform you. Look it up if you care.
