And I’m not doing it for someone else. I’m doing it for something I also am a part of. Its not a charity. Its a protest.
Charity biblically meant love. In other words, an ongoing relationship… and then the Elite took over Christianity and changed the meaning of the word to neutralize it. Modern charity is a travesty.
Many political ideologies, including Christianity, were started as movements for liberation, then later co-opted by the ruling class and turned into tools of oppression. It’s happened so many times I’m amazed there is not a name for this phenomenon.
There’s a name: the recuperation.
