It’s time to dream big. Omarchy Quattro has given people a chance to experience what the malleable computer of the future looks like, and they like it (a lot!). It now feels like a moral obligation to make this future more broadly…
In reallity, I remember back when omarchy released a thing that kept coming up was that “the install process took a minute or two” which, is pretty cool.
I also have a completely baseless belief that Omarchy is also probably the biggest distro with a tiling WM by default.
But I’m just another standard arch neckbeard, I don’t really know or care about Omarchy.
@eudaemon@mathstodon.xyz I mean… I am one of the dumbest to install linux but archinstall is sometimes easier than the fucking GUItastic fedora installer.
Also non-de WM OSGUIs are basically Gnome3 for neckbeards, but that’s a bit more of a hot take.
Because arch is too hard!

@Solemarc @Skullgrid “arch is hard” is an alias for “I don’t want to take some time learning something new and cool”
Look, I agree with you.
But what we’ve learned over the past 2 or 3 years is that people are not willing to learn new things.
