Maine’s Total Coverage has confirmed that Republican incumbent Sen. Susan Collins has conceded the state’s high-profile U.S. Senate race to Democratic challenger Troy Jackson. The Associated Press has yet to call the race in Jackson’s favor.

This is insane, she’s a 5 term republican. I can’t believe she got that many votes after the investigation into her bribes and shit. It’s nuts, but I’m glad he won.
Personally? I’m not surprised whatsoever. Nobody gives a shit about their politicians as long as they pass a single major checkbox or two for the moron filling out the ballot.
Republicans in particular? I fully expect them to vote for pedophiles, rapists, and everything in between which I’m sure Susan Collins is. They like to be ruled like the peasants they make themselves into.
