I mostly play minecraft and indies, i am relatively safe lmao, what can happen? Mojang stop to update the game? Great now everyone will make mods on the same version lol
Microsoft, a company i never did business with during my purchase of Minecraft, stole my copy because I didnt learn about the account migration in time.
As said, you can still play the game without account on Java edition as of now (you have to either use a 3rd party launcher or launch the game from the terminal though)
Anyway, i don’t know how the fuck Microsoft wasn’t sued for that ““incident””

??? so i have some bad news about minecraft…
That there’s an open source alternative which is gaining momentum?
Edit: oh bad news the Microsoft
Luanti aka minetest
You can log in Minecraft (Java) without using Microsoft authentication servers (and even if we couldn’t, we could just mod it in the game tbf)
I was not able the last time I tried…
What launcher have you used?

i’m pretty sure that both are illegal btw
if you’re interested in this, somebody made an open source re-implementation of it with excellent modding abilities.
No it"s not illegal, they don’t even break the EULA or TOS in anyway, maybe it does if you never bough a license for the game but that’s it;
I am not really interessed in Luanti tbh, it does not have the same mods or content
(Side note: i did read the entire EULA btw)
