hah! I stopped using MSN and started using aMSN before they introduced nudges. I do recognise the sound but it’s not quite as visceral as the original message noise!
This would happen to me if someone played the guitar chord used as a notification sound in aMSN (a TCL/tk msn client) circa 2006.
Actually it would also happen if they used the original msn message sound…
