There’s a chinese version thats half the price and produces 50% more power by revving to 16K and costs like half as much, but for some reason nobody imports them. If I buy the Honda I just know the chinese bike will show up.

The chinese one’s engine is basically a copy of a zx4r, the 400cc version of the bike below, with imported parts any place that in-house manufacturing wasn’t on par or superior, and most parts being interchangeable.
But I don’t want a fully-fared bike, the plastics are gonna get scuffed so fast if I’m riding it on streets, sidewalks, gravel, etc every day.
