I noticed it happened a few years ago, I would get the goya one out of convenience. Maybe people caught on at how it’s a jar of magical goodness lol. Lucky for me there’s a mom pop shop that makes it from scratch.
It’s crazy that those jars of sofrito got so expensive. I used to buy them for a dollar and change.
