I employed a little bit of creative license here in order to make this work better as a 4-panel “comic” with the knowing glances of the ridiculously attractive people as the punchline. Full original dialog:
RONON: So people just sit and watch this box for hours at a time?
JOHN: Yeah, people do.
TEYLA: Is it that engaging?
JOHN: Depends what’s on it. There are lots of programs on dozens of channels, every day, all day.
RODNEY: Most of which are fictional representations of ridiculously attractive people in absurd situations.
JOHN: There are educational programs, all sorts of documentaries. Not many people watch 'em but, uh, well, they’re on.
RONON: And that’s what everybody on your planet does for entertainment? Watch a box?
There are some good shows though, like Wormhole X-treme

Don’t they also make a Jeopardy/double jeopardy joke too?
RONON: And that’s what everybody on your planet does for entertainment? Watch a box?
RODNEY: Not everyone – although I will confess to the occasional half hour of Jeopardy.
RONON: Jeopardy?
RODNEY: It’s the name of the show – “Jeopardy”.
RONON: Sounds dangerous.
JOHN: Double jeopardy – that’s twice as dangerous.
But if you do really good fictional representations of the absurd situations - or are especially attractive - you get to do more fictional representations on a bigger screen.
