Imagine putting millions of dollars and years of development into a game just to shut it down because it doesn’t take off immediately.
The horseshits execs that made this decision should be beat up.

Kinda insane somebody made this graphic and didn’t notice himself that all of those things are positive lmao

He tested Civilization VI on a Steam Deck and found its 1%-low frame rate improved by 31.8%
So, it’s not up to 32%, it’s the 1% drops improved by 31.8%.
On top of that, it kinda seems like this is a fix that is primarily targeting CPU bottlenecks, so mostly simulation-heavy games like CK3, the Civ series, Stellaris etc. This is relatively without consequence for games that are actively bottlenecked by graphics, and those are the games where the framerate improvements would be the most useful. But then again, it’s an APU, maybe that just performs differently. I’m not really that well versed in how APUs work exactly.
Cool that it exists, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t think it’s not going to have a lot of impact on the steamdeck. Would be cool to see more games tested tho.
To be fair, I don’t think grandma pumped out 252 children because she enjoyed the sex.
Where are those people whose arch installs break after every second update? I don’t think I had a single problem with arch that I wasn’t responsible for. Hell, I had more problems with mint on my girlfriends PC than the arch machines that I’m running.
