I could say the same to the data centers. They got to lay off the water bro.

Many of us noticed that detail at the time, but it’s important to bring it up whenever we deal with inhumane fuckfaces.

This is not a headline. Get a real article. Seriously, fucked up CEOs can have any opinions they want, and it’s not interesting or relevant to us.

Your question doesn’t really need a specific answer. It’s easy to create weird rules and enforce them badly. Exactly how is irrelevant, because justice was never the goal.

That is your opinion of what he might have meant if his brain were working. In reality, we have no idea what he means, and neither does he.

Also the US voting system disenfranchises minorites disproportionately and uses the electoral college, which is anti-democratic (i.e., non swing state district votes affect nothing)… So it’s not simply a matter of shitty voter choices. Those happened in coordination with other shit.
A related issue there is the question of what counts as AI. We all have different expectations about that. What you and I might say is AI. Well, Google might disagree with that because it’s a definitional question and there are competing definitions.
My friend says that for decades they thought the objective was to arrive at the precise time. Eventually they changed mental approaches. It was an interesting experience.

A piece of paper is just a piece of paper. Lots of pretty ones out there.
I think you brought up an important point. There is no reason to empathize with the bad boss. And also it’s quite likely that the boss is in fact a bad person in general in their life.

Well, it doesn’t suck equally. You’re getting paid to interview people. They are not getting paid to apply.
And you’re the only one with power to fix things. So it’s really all on you.

They can talk to AI but not their friends or actual experts. There are only a few reasonable explanations for this…

We need more information. What industry? Can you give us concrete examples? Are bosses in on this? What kind of projects? … I’m afraid right now we just don’t have a clear picture of anything.
Your goal sounds good, but I’m wondering if you tried the obvious things: tell them to STFU, and/or of course escalate if they don’t. It might not work, but it might.

Definitely problematic but as you say an interesting piece of fiction.
Oh that’s just bullshit. You have no idea who we voted for. :-) But I understand that you did and you want to spread the guilt. I understand, but it’s kinda fucked up to do that.
Maybe that was true once upon a time, but these days there’s so much cheap crap on the market. Maybe it came from China or Southeast Asia or the United States itself, nobody knows, nobody cares. The people who talk about cheap Chinese stuff are just being xenophobic racist assholes.
