There are solutions like IPFS for decentralized content hosting so downtime of a primary resource is less important.
I am one of few people who runs a proper dual-stack with a single static IPv4 and a static IPv6 subnet.
Nevertheless I also participate in experimental network overlays like https://yggdrasil-network.github.io/ and distributed storage like IPFS.
