Hm… GPS has been quite a pain so far, for both Android and iOS :)
The best hint: If footsteps appear your distance was tracked. So if you lock the phone, walk somewhere, unlock and there’s footsteps from your old to your new position the distance was 100% counted.
With the Godot settings in place the game should prevent your screen from switching off (I usually just lock my phone or use pocket mode if I want to keep it on).

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

The game doesn’t run/track anything while your phone is locked or it’s not in the foreground (on purpose). But that doesn’t mean it won’t track distance walked. You can lock your phone, walk 500m (preferably a straight line) then unlock. The game calculates the distance and when your speed was below 12 km/h and the last position isn’t older than 30 minutes it counts! Just don’t walk in a circle without ever opening the app (:

Weird, I haven’t seen this behavior yet. As soon as you start dragging and keep your finger down the ladle should stick to your finger. The only jump would be if you raise your finger and start dragging in another position? Let me know, maybe I can improve it.
Hope that clears things up 💚

You can’t pay rent or for food with passion. Indie as in making it your job is brutal.
Indie as a hobby while having a day job can be peachy (I’m doing it myself).

The 0.1% who actually hit it big. Let’s not include survivorship bias here :)

Apple took two weeks just for the first round of reviews, but it’s finally out.

Heh, I did see the resemblance. But no, I wanted to give players a bit of customization and that was my best idea :)
The game is fully playable wherever you are in the world, you could just go for a walk and collect things. It’s not like Pokemon Go where there’s more content in cities. Hell, the game would even work fine in Antarctica!
Plus after getting some currency you can even play on your couch (using the buffs and various buildings), though you make faster progress by walking.
For the bellows: Try wider movements, start your finger a bit further left (you can touch wherever you want) open the bellow wide and then close it fully again.
