Even if your antivirus expires, you’ll still have Windows defender, which is at least as good, if not better, than whatever antivirus you’re already using.
Also, as long as you’re smart about what you download and open on your computer, you’ll be fine

Yeah I reread the part where you said you installed Linux lol. On top of checking permissions also check user ownership of the media. I believe a normal jellyfin install uses your user rather than it’s own system user
