I was shocked when I visited a moderately sized to maybe small US city and had a drink with a friend to find out the bill with tip was $45. No wonder Americans aren’t drinking.

You think there aren’t local authorities as well? I have friends that work for organic certification groups friends that work for state agricultural agencies, nevermind the collectives, granges, growing associations, and counties.
Not to mention the farmers markets themselves that also have food handling and produce handling guidelines.
And again, you can go visit the farms. Lots of people know thier local farms and do CSA’s.
Curious why you are saying what you are. What experience do you have with local farmers markets?

It just varies by jurisdiction and the claims a farm makes.

Speaking of fig newtons. We started getting dried rosselino or Salem white figs in bulk and just having those instead. So much better than any fig newtons thing.
I don’t know about knock off brands but there were such better options for toaster pastries since the 90’s. So much so one of my kids tried a pop tart at some point and thought there disgusting. Overly sweet on a cardboard cracker.
I think they have always been bad. All the brand bame stuff is usually bad. You just gotta look for the good stuff.

I think most people know, but Luanti is more of a minecraft type voxel engine with a game launcher at this point.
From there you can play several variations of voxel type games and manage them.
I say that because if people think its just Minetest with a new name, that isn’t quite accurate.
Usenet is more or less dead. From thousands of servers to just a couple of free real Usenet servers and 60 or so corporate ones.
Its nice that there are a couple of free text only ones left, but the days of all universities and ISPs and anyone else sharing are long gone.
This is stupid. The choice would be don’t buy sony.
